- Worked at a community non-profit, providing guidance and counseling services to adults and children impacted by a cancer diagnosis

FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR | BOOK-AID, INC. | JULY 1998- 2017
- Worked as an intern with the Legal Aid Society’s juvenile rights division (JRD) in the South Bronx and was inspired to organize gently used children’s book collection and distribution sites around Westchester County.
- Having witnessed how children languished in the waiting rooms of courthouses further served as the motivation to found what would become Book-Aid, Inc.
- Book-Aid evolved into an IRS 501-c(3) not-for-profit organization that annually supplied thousands of
children’s books to JRD waiting rooms in Westchester County, the Five boroughs, and Los Angeles County.
